The Constitution of the Presbyterian Church of the USA says that the deacon: “shall minister to those in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress . . . To this board may be delegated . . . responsibilities relating to the oversight of members, to the finances and properties of the church, and to its evangelistic, missionary, and educational programs.” The work of the Deacons is a confidential ministery and through this board we hope to demonstrate God’s love.
